Anna Phoebe
Anna Phoebe is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and presenter whose solo performances transform the violin into a force of nature. Building visceral soundscapes, she creates immersive experiences that are both raw and cinematic.
Blurring the lines between classical, electronic, and experimental music, Anna’s live shows envelop audiences in sonic landscapes that feel both familiar and otherworldly. Her music, deeply inspired by the natural world, has been championed by BBC Radio 6 Music and KEXP, with recent highlights including a sold-out UK solo tour, a Radio 3 performance with Jools Holland, and a standout hybrid DJ/live collaboration with Mary Anne Hobbs at the BBC 6 Music Festival 2024.
Anna’s next solo album arrives in Autumn 2025, with a UK tour planned for October/November.
Anna is currently working on a Manchester International Festival 2025 commission in collaboration with Mary Anne Hobbs. Other projects include duo AVAWAVES who have scored the music for Apple TV+ hit series The Buccaneers and are set to release their third artist album in May. Dover Unlocked, an Arts Council-funded project with Richard Bundy explores architecture and sound, with an album and film to be released in 2025. Anna is also a co-host of BBC Radio 4’s Add to Playlist and a regular guest on BBC 6 Music Roundtable.
